How to Setup an Instant Tent

Tents are a great addition to any outdoor activity. They will shelter you, provide you with a place to sleep, and add fun. Getting some of the best instant tents on the market is a great way to enhance your hiking trip.

However, setting up these tents can be a bit more complicated than it seems if you don’t know what you are doing. This is why we will show you how you can set up your instant tent in just a few steps. Keep in mind that even though just one person can set up instant tents, it’s easier if you do it with a friend.

Let’s get started!

Step 1

The first thing you should do is take the tent out of its protective bag and separate the fly’s interior. Despite the tent’s size, this shouldn’t take you more than just a few seconds. We have used the Coleman Instant Up Tent for this, but all products are similar for setting up.

Step 2

Pull out all four corners to open them. This will expose the polls. Pull them out until they are in a vertical position. Extend each poll until you hear a clicking sound, which will mean the poles are in their place. You will already notice the tent has got its desired shape.

Step 3

Peg down each of the four corners. This will pull the tent’s floor and make it flat.

Step 4

Ensure that the awning and the door of the fly are appropriately aligned with the front of the tent, then put it over the tent’s frame. Using Velcro, make sure the fly is attached to the frame. Hook the corners to the ground, so nothing flies off. Peg out the edges of the fly, as well.

Step 5

Unroll the guy roes, then peg them out and tighten everything

Step 6

Finally, take the awnings, extend, and set them up. This will complete the look of your tent and make you get the most of your tent.

You are finished! Now you have an excellent tent for you and your camping partner to enjoy. The easy setup is what makes instant tents so popular amongst the outdoor lovers. And don’t worry if you fail the first time. Even though these tents can be set up in just a few minutes, it takes a bit of practice to master the process. The tenthub.com have a great blog about instant tents and all tents, so check it out for more info.
